PAUL BROWN STADIUM

CINCINNATI, OH

For nearly a century the Cincinnati Bearcats have
played their home games on the campus of the
University of Cincinnati at Nippert Stadium. That
changes in 2014 as the Bearcats will play at Paul
Brown Stadium as Nippert Stadium is renovated. In
June 2013, the university announced plans to
renovate Nippert Stadium after the final home game
of the 2013 season. To be completed by August 2015,
this project includes the construction of the West
Pavilion that will house a new press box, luxury
boxes and club seats. Fan amenities will also be
upgraded throughout the stadium.
The Bearcats will share Paul Brown Stadium with
the Cincinnati Bengals (NFL), the primary tenant of
the stadium. Located along the banks of the Ohio
River, Paul Brown Stadium was built to replace
Riverfront Stadium, a multipurpose stadium that was
home to the Bengals and Cincinnati Reds (MLB). Paul
Brown Stadium opened on September 10, 2000, features
a Fieldturf playing surface and has a seating
capacity of 65,790. The upper deck of the stadium
will be closed for Bearcats games.
