Turner Field’s transformation is in the home stretch. The former home to the Atlanta Braves is still searching for its official name, but the new home for the Georgia State Panthers is looking more like a football field.

Colorado State University’s $220 million new on-campus stadium is almost done, and the 9NEWS sports team got a first look. The university first broke ground on the project in September 2015. It came after years of deliberations and controversy in the surrounding community.

The University of Iowa’s Tigerhawk logo has officially been installed at Kinnick Stadium’s midfield. This is the first time the field has had a centerpiece logo since 1980.
